Domain ProtectorHow often do you check your domain information? It probably isn’t very often. The most obvious mistake that a webmaster could make is to let his/her domain expire, and lose it to an opportunist. And yet, it happens all the time.
Our domain protector does a couple of vital things.
Within Rankvision it shows all of the public ‘whois’ information. There you can easily have a look and check that the name, address and general contact details are still valid. Often people register a domain with an e-mail address that, over time, they simply stop using. This can, of course, lead to problems if a registrar is trying to contact you.
The other thing we do is, whenever you log into Rankvision, display a warning sign , and e-mail you, if your domain is going to expire within the next 30 days. This will give you plenty of time to renew it safely.
